What to Expect
Our Gamboa zipline experience takes you into the tropical forest bordering the Panama Canal and Soberanía National Park. Travel from platform to platform through the canopy, enjoying the greenery, forest sounds and changing perspectives along the circuit.
This standalone tour focuses on the zipline adventure, making it a good choice if you want a shorter outing with transportation arranged. Your instructor explains the equipment and riding procedures before you begin and guides you through the activity.
The rainforest setting is part of the experience. Keep an eye on the surrounding trees, but remember that wildlife sightings vary and are not guaranteed.

Your Gamboa Canopy Tour Itinerary
Pickup and Drive to Gamboa
Our driver and guide meet you at your Panama City lodging at your confirmed pickup time. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle toward Gamboa on an approximately 45-minute drive through the former Canal Zone and forest surroundings.
Equipment and Safety Briefing
On arrival, meet your zipline instructor for an introduction to the equipment, safety rules and procedures. Listen carefully to the briefing and follow the instructor’s directions throughout the course.
Meet your instructor and prepare for the canopy adventure with a group briefing.
Zipline Through the Rainforest
Head to the launching platform and begin your Gamboa canopy tour. The circuit features 10 cables covering approximately 1.4 kilometers, with treetop platforms connecting the different sections.
Enjoy the sensation of gliding through the forest and take in the tropical surroundings between rides. The canopy activity generally lasts around 1.5–2 hours, depending on the group and operating conditions.
Return to Panama City
After the activity, travel back to Panama City in your arranged vehicle. The complete outing takes approximately 3.5 hours; traffic and local operations can affect the return time.

Keep loose belongings secured. Ask your instructor before taking a phone or camera onto the course; cameras are not recommended during the zipline activity.
Participation Requirements and Safety
Our Gamboa zipline tour is an active outdoor experience. Participants should be comfortable following instructions and moving between platforms. Contact us before booking if you have questions about suitability.
- Height and weight: Send our team each participant’s height and weight after booking.
- Children: Participants must be at least 5 years old. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and the operator determines the required instructor assistance.
- Weight limits: Our participation limits are 250 lbs (114 kg) for men and 170 lbs (77 kg) for women. Contact our team before booking if you are close to either limit.
- Equipment: Harnesses, lanyards, carabiners, pulleys and other equipment are inspected and maintained by the operator.
- Instructions: Follow your instructor’s directions throughout the activity.
- Advance booking: Book by 4:00 PM on the preceding day.

TOUR CANCELATION POLICY
Tao Travel 365 strives to deliver the best possible customer experience. If at any point you have a question or concern about our service, please call us at +1 (805) 826-3657 or email us at sales@taotravel365.tours.
The following cancellation policy applies only to day tours. It does not apply to multi-day tours or accommodation reservations.
I. GENERAL TOUR POLICIES
Due to the nature of our business, the logistics involved in organizing tours and high reservation demand, a 100% refund less credit-card processing fees will only be granted when the reservation was made through our website, www.taotravel365.tours, AND canceled more than 24 hours before the start of the tour. No refund will be granted for cancellations received fewer than 24 hours before the tour starts. All sales are final.
For reservations made through outside portals including, but not limited to, Viator, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb and Hotels.com, please refer to the cancellation policy of the portal through which you booked.
If you are unable to use your reservation, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to reschedule the same or a different tour, but changes cannot be guaranteed.
If you are not at the designated meeting point at your scheduled pickup time, Tao Travel 365 reserves the right not to provide a refund. We will always try to locate you and contact the WhatsApp number provided with your booking.
II. CANCELED OR POSTPONED TOURS
Occasionally, tours are canceled or postponed due to weather conditions, mechanical failure or other unforeseen events. Should this occur, we will attempt to contact you and explain the applicable refund or rescheduling procedure. If Tao Travel 365 cancels your tour, we will refund the tour price paid or attempt to reschedule you for another tour.
III. REFUNDS
All sales are final. Refunds are only available when a tour is canceled within the cancellation guidelines in Section I or canceled or postponed by Tao Travel 365 as described in Section II. Refunds cover the tour price paid. Payment-processing, service and convenience fees are nonrefundable.
To request a refund for a tour canceled or postponed by Tao Travel 365, email sales@taotravel365.tours within two days of the cancellation and write “refund” in the subject line. Instructions will be provided.
IV. TOUR EXCHANGES
Tour exchanges are not generally offered by Tao Travel 365. In exceptional circumstances, such as a cancellation by Tao Travel 365, an exchange may be possible but is not guaranteed. Contact us directly by email to inquire. Fees may apply.
