Three Days of San Blas Island Hopping
Your stay includes a San Blas boat tour in the Lemon Cays to visit other islands and the Natural Pools. The package also includes roundtrip boat transport from the Port of Cartí to the islands, meals and the cabin arrangement in your selected package. Read the full itinerary and the “What’s Included” section below for the details of each day. Activities and transfers can depend on sea conditions and the islands selected.

How to Choose and Book Your Cabin
Select a tour start date and number of guests in the Availability booking area, then choose one cabin package in Extra items. Package #1 is included in the base tour price. For an upgrade, the booking selector displays the additional per-guest, per-night rate and calculates two nights; for example, Package #3 adds $15 per guest per night, or $30 per guest for the stay. Review the full total before checkout. Private cabin packages #4–#8 require at least two guests.
Optional shared 4×4 transport from Panama City or Playa Bonita, the Guna Yala entry fee and drinks are listed as exclusions or separate options in the booking details below. Check those details before paying. Select only one upgrade; if the booking form permits more than one, contact us before checkout.
Plan Your San Blas Overnight Stay
Island cabins are basic, and their floors, bathrooms and level of privacy differ by package. Pack lightly for the boat crossing and keep your passport and cash accessible for the Guna Yala entrance fee. The road transfer from Panama City reaches the Port of Cartí by 4×4 vehicle; boat conditions and the exact island sequence can vary. Read the itinerary and travel notes below for pickup timing, meals and what to bring.
Traveling solo? Packages #1–#3 accept one guest. Looking for a private bathroom on both nights? Compare Packages #5 and #6. Your Selected Accommodation
Choose shared cabins, private rooms or private cabins according to your package. Bathroom arrangements and floor types vary by island. San Blas cabins are simple, but their island settings offer an experience unlike a conventional hotel stay.
Roundtrip Boat Transfer from Port of Cartí to the Islands
When you arrive at the port in the morning, our team will direct you to the boat for your island transfer.
Please note: We recommend adding our optional car shuttle from Panama City or Playa Bonita at checkout to help you reach the Port of Cartí on time. If you drive yourself, allow extra time and follow your confirmed meeting instructions. The boat departs on schedule and may leave without guests who arrive late.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Breakfast may include ojaldre, a local fried bread, fresh fruit and coffee. Lunch and dinner typically include fish, chicken or seafood with rice, plantain and salad. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
Island Taxes and Fees
Island taxes and fees included with your package are covered. The Guna Yala entrance fee is paid separately, as explained below.
Snorkel and Mask During the Island Tour
Snorkel and mask are provided during the scheduled island tour.
Lunch on Your Departure-Day Excursion
Check-out from your cabin is at 8:00 AM. Depending on your island selection, the excursion boat will pick you up between approximately 9:30 and 10:00 AM or after lunch. Lunch and one beverage are included in the excursion.
What's Not Included
Shared Roundtrip Road Transfer from Panama City or Playa Bonita
You can add our shared 4×4 shuttle at checkout. Pickup from your lodging is generally between 5:00 and 5:45 AM. The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and includes winding, uneven roads. Please prepare accordingly if you are prone to motion sickness.
If you drive yourself, only suitable 4×4 vehicles are permitted into Guna Yala. Other vehicles may be turned away.
Guna Yala Entrance Fee
Bring cash for the entrance fee: $22 for international visitors or $7 for Panamanian residents. Bring your passport or Panamanian identification for the checkpoint.
Drinks Outside Those Specifically Included
Additional drinks can be purchased on the islands.
Accommodation Upgrades
Packages #2–#8 carry an additional accommodation charge, as listed in the package comparison and calculated in the booking form.
San Blas 3 Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive on Your First Island
If you select our roundtrip shuttle, your driver will pick you up between approximately 5:00 and 5:45 AM in a shared 4×4 SUV. Arrival at the Port of Cartí is expected at around 9:00 AM.
After a boat ride of approximately 20 to 30 minutes, arrive at your first overnight island. Settle into your accommodation, enjoy the beach and get to know your island surroundings.
Lunch is generally served around 12:30 PM, and dinner after 6:00 PM.
Day 2 — Transfer to Your Second Island
Breakfast is served after 7:00 AM. A boat will take you to your second overnight island, with arrival expected around 9:30 AM.
Spend the day swimming and exploring. Depending on the island, kayaks may be included or stand-up paddleboards may be available to rent. Lunch is generally served around 12:30 PM, and dinner after 6:00 PM.
Day 3 — Island Excursion and Return
Breakfast is served after 7:00 AM. Depending on your island selection, the excursion boat will pick you up after breakfast or after lunch.
Travel through the Lemon Cays, visit one or two other islands, and enjoy time to swim or snorkel. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Natural Pools, where you can stand in shallow water and may see sea stars. Please observe marine life without touching or removing it from the water.
Lunch is generally served around 12:30 PM. The boat returns to the Port of Cartí at approximately 3:30 PM. If you booked our road transfer, your driver will meet you for the return journey, with arrival in Panama City expected around 7:00 PM.

San Blas Travel Notes – Please Read
San Blas offers beautiful islands and clear Caribbean water, along with simple facilities that differ considerably from a conventional resort. The islands are part of Guna Yala, an Indigenous territory where local Guna communities manage island services. Please approach the experience with flexibility and respect for local customs.
- Cabins: Accommodation is rustic. Rooms generally do not have air conditioning, and some do not have fans or electrical outlets. Bedding and bathrooms vary by island.
- Electricity and connectivity: Power may be available only during limited hours, often in the evening and overnight. Internet and mobile service can be unreliable.
- Water: Fresh water is limited on the islands, and temporary interruptions can occur.
- Meals: Food is simple and menus may repeat. Bring any snacks you may want, particularly if you have dietary needs.
- Road transfer: The shared drive to the port takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours on mountain roads that can be winding and uneven. Pickup times may vary as other guests are collected.
- Boat transfer: Depending on conditions, the boat crossing can be bumpy and wet. Protect electronics and essential belongings in a dry bag.
- Language: Many local island staff speak Guna and Spanish; English may be limited.
- Sandflies and mosquitoes: These can be present, particularly during wetter or windless periods. Bring insect repellent.
- Weather: Tropical showers can occur at any time. The itinerary may change when sea or weather conditions require it.
- Medical care: Facilities on the islands are limited. Serious medical needs may require transport toward Panama City. Consider travel insurance and bring any essential medication.
If you need to request an early return or an itinerary change, contact our reservations team at sales@taotravel365.tours as early as possible. Changes depend on available boats and transportation, and an early departure does not qualify for a refund.

ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY
Tao Travel 365 strives to deliver the best possible customer experience. If at any point you have a question or concern about our service, please call us at +1 (805) 826-3657 or email us at sales@taotravel365.tours.
I. GENERAL ACCOMMODATION POLICIES
Due to the nature of our business, the limited supply of cabins in San Blas and high reservation demand, a 100% refund less credit-card processing fees will only be granted when the reservation was made through our website, www.taotravel365.tours, AND canceled more than 15 days before the check-in date. A 50% refund less credit-card processing fees will be granted when Tao Travel 365 receives notice at least seven days before the check-in date. No refund will be granted for cancellations received fewer than seven days before the check-in date. All sales are final.
For reservations made through outside portals including, but not limited to, Viator, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb and Hotels.com, please refer to the cancellation policy of the portal through which you booked.
If you are unable to use your reservation, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to reschedule the same or a different accommodation, but changes cannot be guaranteed.
If you are not at the designated meeting point at your scheduled pickup time, Tao Travel 365 reserves the right not to provide a refund. We will always try to locate you and contact the WhatsApp number provided with your booking.
II. CANCELED OR POSTPONED RESERVATIONS
Occasionally, reservations are canceled or postponed due to weather or ocean conditions, mechanical failure or other unforeseen events. Should this occur, we will attempt to contact you and explain the applicable refund or rescheduling procedure. If Tao Travel 365 cancels your accommodation, we will refund the accommodation price paid or attempt to reschedule you for another accommodation.
III. REFUNDS
All sales are final. Refunds are only available when an accommodation is canceled within the cancellation guidelines in Section I or canceled or postponed by Tao Travel 365 as described in Section II. Refunds cover the accommodation price paid. Payment-processing, service and convenience fees are nonrefundable.
To request a refund for an accommodation canceled or postponed by Tao Travel 365, email sales@taotravel365.tours within two days of the cancellation and write “refund” in the subject line. Instructions will be provided.
IV. ACCOMMODATION EXCHANGES
Accommodation exchanges are not generally offered by Tao Travel 365. In exceptional circumstances, such as a cancellation by Tao Travel 365, an exchange may be possible but is not guaranteed. Contact us directly by email to inquire. Fees may apply.

Sehr tolles Erlebnis und nur zu empfehlen. Der Transport hat gut geklappt, allerdings sollte man je nach Fahrer Reisetabletten für die wirklich sehr kurvige Strecke dabei haben. Die Bewohner der Insel haben einen ganz toll bewirtet und es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis Zeit auf so einer Trauminsel zu verbringen. Amazing time, would recommend to anyone - groups, couples and solo travellers Yani Island was an incredible experience; their home island is exceptionally beautiful and the family are extremely welcoming and friendly. The island is small but that's where the charm is; it's not packed at all, I though it was the perfect place to relax, honestly feeling very rejuvenated after two nights there. The food is really good as well, always fresh and very tasty. The beach has plenty of space to relax, sunbathe and go snorkeling next to the sunken boat. There are islands very close by that are beautiful and we went to visit them after our Czech out and our last lunch was on another island.It is worth the 3 hours by car and the 30 minutes by boat to visit this paradise. Effectivement la route peut sembler « chaotique » dans le sens où la dernière heure pour arriver aux bateaux contient beaucoup de virages et de montées/descentes mais notre chauffeur était expérimenté et prévenant ! Le bateau s’est très bien passé pour aller sur l’île Yanis. Et là, on en a pris plein les yeux. L’île est magnifique, entourée d’une eau turquoise où on peut observer une multitude de poissons. Tout est très bien organisé. Notre cabane était prête à notre arrivée, quel bonheur de voir la faune maritime du balcon. Les repas sont certes sommaires mais copieux et savoureux. Nous avons passé une après-midi sur l’île à naviguer entre snorkeling, repos dans les hamacs, promenades autour de l’île. La douche avec vue sur l’eau était vraiment agréable même si roots. Don’t hesitate to book for comfortable San Blas experience! ☺Amazing stay. The people here are so kind and friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made so much effort to ensure I was comfortable. The Accomodation is clean and as pictured with a private bathroom. Of course basic but if planning a trip to San Blas you need to manage your expectations! I booked at short notice and everything was arranged so smoothly, very easy process for transfer from Panama City. The food was delicious. Beach on the island very nice and the excursions were excellent. I highly recommend booking this place! The price includes all meals and boat from the port. It was a good tour... San Blas is beautiful and I'm so glad I had a restful first day on Asserya Island before the island hopping boat tour on the next day. It was a good decision to go with this tour package considering I only had booked the trip to Panama last minute. The communication with the agency was a bit of a struggle though at times - don't get me wrong, it wasn't the worst but definitely it could take days before they responded or you might just need to ask a couple of times. I think apart from the communication, it was overall wonderful & I met some great people on both the island and the boat tour too. It was also so special to see the Indigenous Kuna people taking care of the islands and in charge of these beautiful places... paradise! One of my highlights is to see glimpses into how the Kuna people live & the way they do community on the islands. I had Eric as the boat tour guide, he was good and clear in his communication and instructions. Fast communication and on the date and time their driver was at our hotel. From then on everything went according to plan and there was always someone "taking care of us" and making sure all schedules were met. We did the 2 days/1 night tour and it was amazing to stay in the island after the daytrippers were gone and enjoy that special atmosphere (same for waking up there the next day). Food was tasty and fresh. The beach cabin is comfortable and close to the ocean, which is a soothing sound falling asleep at night. The Kunas so sweet and friendly. We will come back again for sure. The island itself has so much to offer in terms of pristine water and water activities (swimming, snorkeling, etc) and we also loved the daily excursions they took us on to other nearby islands for just an additional $3 per person per excursion. ☹Facilities are pretty bare and basic, but quite comparable to what you get at competing properties/islands. I highly highly recommend staying on isla Perro in the private cabin with shared bathroom! For one, there was shipwreck snorkeling right off the shore and beautiful coral reefs encircling the entire island! We saw countless fish, crabs, thriving reefs, and a huge stingray! Isla perro, in my opinion, definitely had the best snorkeling! For two, the cabin, although very bare bones, was perfect! The balcony was literally over the shore! We had a private little beach area and a hammock! This is the perfect little corner of the Caribbean! Highly recommend taking a visit!Posted on Google

We enjoyed not having to think too much, and the boat trip to the sunken pirate ship was incredible, some of the best coral I’ve ever seen were growing on the boat. April HodgeJune 22, 2023Yani Island was beautiful and met our expectations. Expect nice camping with flush toilets and beds. All the people were very nice. The food was good and you never left a meal hungry. Kayak, SUPing, and daily snorkeling tours were also available free of charge.Posted on Booking
DevrieseJanuary 14, 2023Back to basics met basiscomfort ☺Nette kamer met eigen badkamer, vriendelijke mensen. ☹Op foto’s van de deluxe kamer wordt een balkon getoond. Dit is echter NIET aanwezig, wat erg jammer is aangezien dit voor ons de reden was om hier te boeken. Let er ook op dat er per persoon nog heel wat bijkomende kosten zijn bij het verblijven op San Blas: 50$ vervoer, 20$ douane, 20$ belastingen (booking), excursies (variabel), 20$ voor check-out na 8 AM. Ik stel me vragen bij hoeveel hiervan uiteindelijk terechtkomt bij de eilandbewoners.Posted on Booking

Very friendly people, they help you whereever they can and offered us 3 wonderful days, tours to Other Islands included. Die Unterkunft war ein wenig teuer, doch sie hat unsere Erwartungen komplett erfüllt. Es hat alles bestens geklappt und wir konnten nichts bemängeln. Die Inselbewohner sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und haben uns alle Wünsche erfüllt! Le confort est très sommaire : peu d'électricité, pas de ventilateur, propreté hésitante. Mais le tout fait parti de l'experience : on va a San Blas pour une déconnexion totale et un séjour a la robinson Crusoé ! Le réveil a 6h avec le lever du soleil sur l'eau turquoise vaut tout le reste. Les excursions sont superbes, ils nous emmènent visiter d'autres petites iles et manger des fruits frais au bord de l'eau ☹La propreté des logements La nourriture : on s'attendait a beaucoup de poisson grillés, mais nous avons mangé principalement du poulet amené en bateau ! Les boissons sont payantes, pensez a emmener de l'eau et éventuellement quelques snacks.Load more
