Your Two-Day San Blas Experience
Arrive by boat from the Port of Cartí and settle into island life. Spend your first day swimming, walking the shore and enjoying the setting of your chosen island. After your overnight stay, join an excursion in the Lemon Cays that may visit other islands and the Natural Pools. Stops and timing can change with your cabin selection, weather and sea conditions.
This trip gives you more time on the islands than a San Blas day tour. If you would like a second night, compare our San Blas 3 day tour before booking.

What's Included
- One overnight stay in the cabin or room option selected during booking.
- Roundtrip boat transfer between the Port of Cartí and your island as part of this overnight tour package.
- Island boat excursion in the Lemon Cays. The route may include other islands and the Natural Pools; stops depend on your selected package and conditions.
- Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner during the stay, plus the included departure-day tour lunch described in the itinerary.
- Island taxes and fees included with this package.
- Snorkel and mask during the boat excursion, subject to availability and conditions.
Typical meals may include ojaldre, fruit and coffee for breakfast, and simple fish, chicken or seafood dishes with sides for lunch or dinner. Vegetarian meals can be requested in advance. Menus depend on the island and daily availability.
What's Not Included
- Road transfer to and from the Port of Cartí. Shared transport from Panama City or Playa Bonita can be added during booking.
- Guna Yala entrance fee. The existing tour listing quotes $22 for international visitors and $7 for Panamanian residents. Bring cash and confirm the applicable amount before travel.
- Additional drinks, snacks and optional purchases on the islands.
- Cabin upgrades selected as extra items at checkout.
If you choose the shared road transfer, pickups are generally scheduled between 5:00 and 5:45 AM. The mountain road is winding, so prepare accordingly if you experience motion sickness. Guests arranging their own transport should confirm current vehicle and access requirements before departure.
San Blas 2 Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1 — Travel to Your Island
Early morning: If you booked our shared road transfer, your driver collects you from the designated pickup location in Panama City or Playa Bonita. Travel to the Port of Cartí.
Morning: Board the boat to your selected island. Settle into your cabin or room, change for the beach and enjoy time at your own pace.
Afternoon and evening: Lunch is generally served around midday. Spend the afternoon on the island, followed by dinner after approximately 6:00 PM. Enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 2 — Island Excursion and Return
Morning: Breakfast is served on the island. Cabin checkout is generally around 8:00 AM. Depending on your selected island, your excursion pickup may be after breakfast or after lunch.
During the day: Explore the Lemon Cays by boat. The planned excursion may include other islands, snorkeling and the Natural Pools, subject to route, weather and sea conditions. Lunch is included.
Afternoon: Return by boat to the Port of Cartí. If you booked our road transfer, continue to Panama City, with arrival generally around 7:00 PM.
All times are approximate. Your confirmed pickup and return instructions take precedence over this sample itinerary.

Important Information Before You Travel
Cabin comfort: These are simple island accommodations. Air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi should not be expected. Electricity, fans, charging points, running water and bathroom arrangements differ among islands and cabins. Review your selected accommodation before booking.
Travel conditions: The road to Cartí includes winding sections. The boat crossing can be bumpy and wet, especially when seas are rough. Departure times, excursion stops and transfers may change for operational or weather reasons.
Food and supplies: Island menus are simple, and the range of snacks or drinks for purchase may be limited. Tell us about dietary requests before travel.
Island setting: Guna Yala is home to the Indigenous Guna people. Respect local residents, their customs and instructions during your stay. You can learn more about Guna culture before your visit.
Health and changes: Medical facilities are limited in this remote region. Consider travel insurance that covers medical care and transport. If you need to request an early departure or a change to your scheduled return, contact Tao Travel 365 as early as possible; arranging changes may not be possible, and unused services are not automatically refundable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a two-day, one-night trip?
Yes. The package includes one overnight island stay, with arrival on Day 1 and the island excursion and return on Day 2.
Can I travel alone?
Yes. Packages #1–#5 are listed as available to solo guests. Packages #6–#9 require at least two guests.
Is transport from Panama City included?
No. Roundtrip road transfer to the Port of Cartí is an optional extra. The package includes the boat transfer between the port and your island.
Will I visit the Natural Pools?
The planned boat excursion may include the Natural Pools. The route can vary with your chosen island, weather, sea conditions and local operations.
Are bathrooms private?
It depends on the package. Packages #6, #8 and #9 list private bathrooms; the other listed options have shared bathrooms. Check your selection before booking.

ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY
Tao Travel 365 strives to deliver the best possible customer experience. If at any point you have a question or concern about our service, please call us at +1 (805) 826-3657 or email us at sales@taotravel365.tours.
I. GENERAL ACCOMMODATION POLICIES
Due to the nature of our business, the limited supply of cabins in San Blas and high reservation demand, a 100% refund less credit-card processing fees will only be granted when the reservation was made through our website, www.taotravel365.tours, AND canceled more than 15 days before the check-in date. A 50% refund less credit-card processing fees will be granted when Tao Travel 365 receives notice at least seven days before the check-in date. No refund will be granted for cancellations received fewer than seven days before the check-in date. All sales are final.
For reservations made through outside portals including, but not limited to, Viator, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb and Hotels.com, please refer to the cancellation policy of the portal through which you booked.
If you are unable to use your reservation, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to reschedule the same or a different accommodation, but changes cannot be guaranteed.
If you are not at the designated meeting point at your scheduled pickup time, Tao Travel 365 reserves the right not to provide a refund. We will always try to locate you and contact the WhatsApp number provided with your booking.
II. CANCELED OR POSTPONED RESERVATIONS
Occasionally, reservations are canceled or postponed due to weather or ocean conditions, mechanical failure or other unforeseen events. Should this occur, we will attempt to contact you and explain the applicable refund or rescheduling procedure. If Tao Travel 365 cancels your accommodation, we will refund the accommodation price paid or attempt to reschedule you for another accommodation.
III. REFUNDS
All sales are final. Refunds are only available when an accommodation is canceled within the cancellation guidelines in Section I or canceled or postponed by Tao Travel 365 as described in Section II. Refunds cover the accommodation price paid. Payment-processing, service and convenience fees are nonrefundable.
To request a refund for an accommodation canceled or postponed by Tao Travel 365, email sales@taotravel365.tours within two days of the cancellation and write “refund” in the subject line. Instructions will be provided.
IV. ACCOMMODATION EXCHANGES
Accommodation exchanges are not generally offered by Tao Travel 365. In exceptional circumstances, such as a cancellation by Tao Travel 365, an exchange may be possible but is not guaranteed. Contact us directly by email to inquire. Fees may apply.

Sehr tolles Erlebnis und nur zu empfehlen. Der Transport hat gut geklappt, allerdings sollte man je nach Fahrer Reisetabletten für die wirklich sehr kurvige Strecke dabei haben. Die Bewohner der Insel haben einen ganz toll bewirtet und es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis Zeit auf so einer Trauminsel zu verbringen. Amazing time, would recommend to anyone - groups, couples and solo travellers Yani Island was an incredible experience; their home island is exceptionally beautiful and the family are extremely welcoming and friendly. The island is small but that's where the charm is; it's not packed at all, I though it was the perfect place to relax, honestly feeling very rejuvenated after two nights there. The food is really good as well, always fresh and very tasty. The beach has plenty of space to relax, sunbathe and go snorkeling next to the sunken boat. There are islands very close by that are beautiful and we went to visit them after our Czech out and our last lunch was on another island.It is worth the 3 hours by car and the 30 minutes by boat to visit this paradise. Effectivement la route peut sembler « chaotique » dans le sens où la dernière heure pour arriver aux bateaux contient beaucoup de virages et de montées/descentes mais notre chauffeur était expérimenté et prévenant ! Le bateau s’est très bien passé pour aller sur l’île Yanis. Et là, on en a pris plein les yeux. L’île est magnifique, entourée d’une eau turquoise où on peut observer une multitude de poissons. Tout est très bien organisé. Notre cabane était prête à notre arrivée, quel bonheur de voir la faune maritime du balcon. Les repas sont certes sommaires mais copieux et savoureux. Nous avons passé une après-midi sur l’île à naviguer entre snorkeling, repos dans les hamacs, promenades autour de l’île. La douche avec vue sur l’eau était vraiment agréable même si roots. Don’t hesitate to book for comfortable San Blas experience! ☺Amazing stay. The people here are so kind and friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made so much effort to ensure I was comfortable. The Accomodation is clean and as pictured with a private bathroom. Of course basic but if planning a trip to San Blas you need to manage your expectations! I booked at short notice and everything was arranged so smoothly, very easy process for transfer from Panama City. The food was delicious. Beach on the island very nice and the excursions were excellent. I highly recommend booking this place! The price includes all meals and boat from the port. It was a good tour... San Blas is beautiful and I'm so glad I had a restful first day on Asserya Island before the island hopping boat tour on the next day. It was a good decision to go with this tour package considering I only had booked the trip to Panama last minute. The communication with the agency was a bit of a struggle though at times - don't get me wrong, it wasn't the worst but definitely it could take days before they responded or you might just need to ask a couple of times. I think apart from the communication, it was overall wonderful & I met some great people on both the island and the boat tour too. It was also so special to see the Indigenous Kuna people taking care of the islands and in charge of these beautiful places... paradise! One of my highlights is to see glimpses into how the Kuna people live & the way they do community on the islands. I had Eric as the boat tour guide, he was good and clear in his communication and instructions. Fast communication and on the date and time their driver was at our hotel. From then on everything went according to plan and there was always someone "taking care of us" and making sure all schedules were met. We did the 2 days/1 night tour and it was amazing to stay in the island after the daytrippers were gone and enjoy that special atmosphere (same for waking up there the next day). Food was tasty and fresh. The beach cabin is comfortable and close to the ocean, which is a soothing sound falling asleep at night. The Kunas so sweet and friendly. We will come back again for sure. The island itself has so much to offer in terms of pristine water and water activities (swimming, snorkeling, etc) and we also loved the daily excursions they took us on to other nearby islands for just an additional $3 per person per excursion. ☹Facilities are pretty bare and basic, but quite comparable to what you get at competing properties/islands. I highly highly recommend staying on isla Perro in the private cabin with shared bathroom! For one, there was shipwreck snorkeling right off the shore and beautiful coral reefs encircling the entire island! We saw countless fish, crabs, thriving reefs, and a huge stingray! Isla perro, in my opinion, definitely had the best snorkeling! For two, the cabin, although very bare bones, was perfect! The balcony was literally over the shore! Let er ook op dat er per persoon nog heel wat bijkomende kosten zijn bij het verblijven op San Blas: 50$ vervoer, 20$ douane, 20$ belastingen (booking), excursies (variabel), 20$ voor check-out na 8 AM. AnkaDecember 29, 2022Perfect and unforgettable ☺On the Island and in this accomodation you’re dreams come true :) beautiful island, wonderful caribbean Water and gorgeous Reefs for snorkeling. Very friendly people, they help you whereever they can and offered us 3 wonderful days, tours to Other Islands included. The Food we got was always very Good, a lot of fresh seafood, which was excellent. We really can recommend this accomodation.Posted on Booking

EbbaDecember 23, 2022A unique and beautiful experience ☺lovely stay! it was a truly special experience to stay with the kuna people and learn about their history and culture. San Blas is extremely beautiful and it was included to go on daily trips. The hosts were very kind and the food was over expectations. JoelDecember 10, 2022Nice hotel but better book directly with the hotel (Cabañas Niadub) ☺- Very nice staff - Nice island - Good food (considering their possibilities) ☹- Rather expensive - Not much to do - don‘t stay too long - Important: When you book here on booking.com you book through the agency „Enjoy San Blas“. Price is considerably higher and we had lots of troubles (no answer to emails / messages, plans change without information even if they were confirmed, Add. costs)Posted on Booking

Die Unterkunft war ein wenig teuer, doch sie hat unsere Erwartungen komplett erfüllt. Es hat alles bestens geklappt und wir konnten nichts bemängeln. Die Inselbewohner sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und haben uns alle Wünsche erfüllt! Absolut eine Reise wert. ☹Preis ein wenig teuer, aber es muss halt alles auf die Insel kommen.Posted on Booking
AlexandraJuly 19, 2022Confort sommaire pour une experience sensationnelle et inédite ! ☺Situation paradisiaque : une cabane posée sur une minuscule ile. Le confort est très sommaire : peu d'électricité, pas de ventilateur, propreté hésitante. Mais le tout fait parti de l'experience : on va a San Blas pour une déconnexion totale et un séjour a la robinson Crusoé ! Le réveil a 6h avec le lever du soleil sur l'eau turquoise vaut tout le reste. Les excursions sont superbes, ils nous emmènent visiter d'autres petites iles et manger des fruits frais au bord de l'eau ☹La propreté des logements La nourriture : on s'attendait a beaucoup de poisson grillés, mais nous avons mangé principalement du poulet amené en bateau ! Les boissons sont payantes, pensez a emmener de l'eau et éventuellement quelques snacks.Load more
